Learning club salsa for fun.

I did salsa for several years. Just started learning west coast swing, rhumba, tango, waltz, etc and would like to get better.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

I have been professionally training dance since 2002, and I also give dance classrooms for Argentine Tango, Ballroom, Latin and Salsa dances.

I have always enjoyed dancing. After a long period in which I didn't dance I started again last February. I signed up for a Salsa as well as a Bachata beginners`course. On private parties I also dance Jive, Foxtrott, Rumba, Samba Disco Fox Chachacha. I am a fast learner when it comes to dancing

I started my ballroom dance hobby/passion about 20 years ago with LOTS of group lessons and then in about 2009 got into private lessons for the first time. I took the lessons for a year and a half and during that time did 2 studio showcases and 2 pro-am competitions. Over the last about 10 years I have been in and out (unfortunately) of private lessons, although recently was able to take some private lessons consistently and do another pro-am competition.

I have also had the opportunity to take private lessons with an amateur partner as we prepared to compete. Because of relocating I had to stop that endeavor.

I am now situated over in the Clearwater/St Pete area and thought I'd explore this dance partner website again.

Anyways, I LOVE TO DANCE and would love to practice with a partner with similar interests, ability, and goals.

I like many dance styles and generally prefer dancing in a place where people are there to dance socially (on the dance floor or taking lessons) rather than club dancing. But sometimes it's fun to do a little salsa, hustle or West Coast Swing around a live band, because diversity is fun. I enjoy ballroom, Argentine tango, and West Coast swing, and my attitude is: when it comes to dancing, it's all good. One of my favorite dances these days is country two-step, because it's hard to take yourself too seriously in that dance and it tends to bring out a lighthearted, chivalrous flavor to sharing the music together.

Hi - I started dancing classes in January 2018 for a few terms, and post Covid I started again in 2020 - but its been somewhat sporadic, due to the need to find a dance partner and fit in classes.

I am a beginner looking to learn a range of dance styles - ballroom and Latin - and have fun learning.

I am happily married - but my wife isn’t interested in dancing, hence the search for a dance partner.

Love to dance socially

I practice an average of 4 hours a day. I was a world ranked tennis player. I am still very new to the world of dance. But I have come a long way very quickly. I have taken very regular coachings from Marianne Nicole, Izabella Jundzill, bob Powers, Georgia and Eric Luna, Andrea Stefano and many others. Coaching has been a constant part of my development and I practice an average of 4 hours a day 6 days a week. I have competed Theatre Arts and smooth professionally.

I am returning to the floor and ready to train again.

started with ballroom as adult but fell in love so deeply, that I put dance as priority for the rest of my life. Later I discovered urban dance, Hip Hop, Socials and trained them. I started my dance experience with partner skating at age 9 and continued for 4 years. Switched to Tap, Jazz, Ballet wasn't serious about my dancing until I was 19 since I've taught at Fred Astaire from 2008 to 2014. From then taught consistent independently to current. I still do contract work for dance studios when needed. My goal now is to dance at a high level with the hope of someday being an invigilator or judge. I'm open to possibilities but serious work and goal oriented are a must. I'm really interested in any style however I do focus on Smooth and Standard. Hard work with a focus on movement, connection and creativity are my favorite things! I work as a corporate pilot. I don't fly a ton and have lots of time for dancing. One of the reasons I like the job! My schedule can be erratic and unpredictable at times though. I have spent years in the details and finer points and would love to have somebody to share them with. All while having a balance of just fun and letting go through movement and dance. I am serious about my dancing and long term goals. I am open to conversations of any possibilities for working together.

Looking for dance partner/leader for social ballroom classes and/or private lessons and events in and around the West Yorkshire area. I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.
