I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

I was a ballroom instructor for 15 years. No longer an instructor, I now enjoy social dancing for fun and excitement. I most enjoy the smooth or standard dances for their flow of movement.

For the last three years, have been taking group and private lessons three days per week. USA Dance member. Many years of dancing.

My passion for the Argentine Tango, led me to study in Buenos Aires and continues to inspire my travels. A foundation in theater, ballet and jazz with over 20 years of dance experience, I was recently invited to join a premiere performance dance company. Additionally, I am an instructional assistant and event co-host.

After about 6 years dancing on the collegiate scene, and after a bit of a break in between, I restarted my competitive dancing in 2014, and have been training and competing since. I am interested in making this a lifetime passion with the right partner.

Currently I am only training my Latin, but would like to restart my Standard, and maybe even Smooth and Rhythm. When I left off on those years ago, they were at a Bronze/Silver level.

Socially, I have dabbled in Argentine Tango and Kizomba as well. More to come on those! Then there are the staples of Salsa, Bachata, and some Merengue, in my repertoire.

Covid was a buzzkill but I am back! I just enjoyed a successful debut at Emerald, Dessert Classic and Embassy, taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in a variety of events. But the partner is going to dance full time with his girlfriend now.

I am a 3 Time US National Senior 1 and Senior 2 Latin Champion looking for ambitious, committed lead. I’ve enjoyed being in Top 20 in Senior Latin at Blackpool, several international and world championships. I have loved every moment of it.

My regular (recent) coaches have been Tykon and Yana, Max Sinitsa, Shirley Ballas, Goran Nordin, Evgeny Nazarov, Nikolay Voronovich, and Anna Kovalova, and have studied with many more of the greats. I love the ballroom life - the music, the beauty, the travel and most importantly, the dances.

I’ve been dancing many years and love bachata, salsa, east and west coast swing, two step. Can waltz a little and am open to learning other styles. I’ve taken lessons as a lead and follow in salsa and bachata, and as a lead in west coast (some time ago). Looking for a fun friend to get better with.

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel. Dancing fits in very well with this focus of mine. I am looking for someone to practice with; who loves dancing, and is looking to have some serious fun, while we work together in perfecting our dance steps, technique, and trying out new moves. I mainly dance for fun but I am working on technique and styling in order to dance at higher competitive levels. Lots of experience with improv dancing, but not formally trained. Background of BS biochemistry and art, grad school chemistry, CTESOL, body therapy, professional tutoring, visual art, acting, singing, and improvisational dance. I started my dance experience with partner skating at age 9 and continued for 4 years. Switched to Tap, Jazz, Ballet wasn't serious about my dancing until I was 19 since I've taught at Fred Astaire from 2008 to 2014. From then taught consistent independently to current. I still do contract work for dance studios when needed. My goal now is to dance at a high level with the hope of someday being an invigilator or judge. I'm open to possibilities but serious work and goal oriented are a must. I'm really interested in any style however I do focus on Smooth and Standard. Hard work with a focus on movement, connection and creativity are my favorite things! I work as a corporate pilot. I don't fly a ton and have lots of time for dancing. One of the reasons I like the job! My schedule can be erratic and unpredictable at times though. I have spent years in the details and finer points and would love to have somebody to share them with. All while having a balance of just fun and letting go through movement and dance. I am serious about my dancing and long term goals. I am open to conversations of any possibilities for working together.

I have always enjoyed dancing. After a long period in which I didn't dance I started again last February. I signed up for a Salsa as well as a Bachata beginners`course. On private parties I also dance Jive, Foxtrott, Rumba, Samba Disco Fox Chachacha. I am a fast learner when it comes to dancing

10-dancer of about 14 years. Recently moved to the Austin (TX) area from New York City. Looking to get back into the competitive dance scene. My recent trainers are Ina Jeliazkova, Olga Tsikalyuk, Frantseska Yordanova, to name a few.

I love all kinds of dancing and music and am a natural follower. I've taken many ballroom classes but, without a partner it's really tough to improve. Sometimes I lead in tango (with women) because most of the men seem to gravitate to the younger fillies and I don't go to dances to watch that. I'm getting better every week, especially milonga! Now I even DJ a monthly milonga I hold. Milonga & Argentine Tango are my favorite dances but I love Merengue almost as much. I guess rumba next. I do like West Coast swing, but same thing... no partner - you can't get good. In September I will be visiting Anne and Pablo in San Francisco and in November I will be going to the Cancun TangoMayaFest. I love stuff like that.
