High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

My background includes coaching competitive university dance teams, choreographing for professional dance companies, and teaching in nightclubs, dance studios, on international dance cruises, and at major dance events.

Because of the unique opportunities in Los Angeles, I prefer to remain based here, though I may consider relocating—even internationally—for the right partnership and situation. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a musical theatre minor from USC and I am a member of SAG-AFTRA and the Choreographer’s Guild. My work includes dancing and choreography for numerous music video, stage, commercial, film, and television productions.

My goals are to compete nationally and locally for international standard style. Open to international competitions. I practice 2-3 hours for 2-3 days (flexible) and have about 1 private lesson per week (flexible, could be more near competitions), near San Jose, Sunnyvale, Mountain view, Stanford. I could do Latin silver level, but for fun or socials only and not thinking to compete in Latin.

Looking for a lady that loves to dance. Willing to travel wherever to meet the right woman. I am even willing to relocate for the right lifelong partnership. Have done no competitions as of yet. If the right partner shows up then I would certainly entertain, maybe even welcome, the idea.

Love to dance and won't quit till you do. Am familiar with all typical ballroom dances - Smooth and Latin. I do know Salsa and Hustle as well. West Coast Swing is one of my favorites. Foxtrot and Bolero would be my other two favorites. Just now starting to learn Argentine Tango. I can see the possibilities are endless, but can't really judge the dance till it becomes 'effortless' - and I'm not there yet.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good dedicated dancer.

More than willing to concentrate on any one particular dance/style if partner has a preference, but I do hope to find a partner that likes to dance everything.

I have taken private and group lessons from a multitude of dance studios and instructors over the years. Years ago I competed, mostly within the Arthur Murray system. I have performed several showcases. I prefer social dancing to doing routines.

I am generally a very good lead and am currently dancing somewhere at between an advanced bronze and silver level. I have pretty good technique and could compete if I wanted to.

My wife likes dancing with her dance instructor and I enjoy dancing with other amateurs. Although we both ballroom dance, we have found that we are happier when we do it separately. I am happily married and am only looking for a dance partner.

Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never had a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle.

Dancing is my passion, Latin & Rhythm are my favorites. I am currently taking private lessons in NYC and compete in Pro Am. I would love to dance 2-3 days per week, I would like to concentrate on the dances I love...Latin Rhythm and Swing, I have a little experience in West Coast Swing, I wouldn't mind learning more of this dance. I trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theater throughout my childhood. I went to theater school. In my mid twenties I started dancing salsa in the clubs in LA and was hooked. I was going dancing at least 3 times a week for a few years. I continued to dance salsa when I could in San Francisco and New York, but not as often. For the last few years my mobility was limited due to severe arthritis. I recently had a hip replacement and am thrilled to be living pain free again. My motivation during recovery from surgery was to dance again. I went to a Salsa festival in October and it was a blast. I am ready!

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. I have also studied American Rhythm and International Standard and Latin. I am currently taking Lindy/Swing/Balboa lessons and loving it.
