I’d like to get back to dance after having a kid. I haven’t danced in a few years but would love to get back into it. My heart is in international standard. Before I stopped dancing, I was just starting some open. I’m open to different coaches and competition later in the future. I’ve always done well in competition and pointed out of syllabus in 1.5 years.

Dancing is one of my favorite activities. Mom says I have happy feet, and have to dance on the beat. I was born on April fools and it seems I look at life through joyful eyes

Started Swing (Modern Lindy Hop) in 2000. Inspired by Frankie Manning. Started Mambo (Triple Mambo) a few years later. Also dance Blues and Waltz.

I taught classes in Modern Lindy Hop for several years.

I dance in the styles as these dances came out of Harlem in the 40s. Preserving the history and spreading the knowledge and joy of 1940s' Rhythm Dance is a passion.

I am a strong yet conscientious lead. Strong on technique.

In my teaching years I was a noted Lindy technique instructor in the Swing Dance Community.

I taught approx 300 classes and courses. Organized 250+ dances. Served on the staff of 5 American Lindy Hop Championships. Formerly the founder/director of the Swing Dance Community Chapter serving Fairfield, Westchester and later, Putnam.

I would classify myself as a professional social dancer. I've never been in it to make money. Always kept fees as low as I could manage.

I always included teaching the history of the music and dance in my classes. Including how society as well as music and dance was forever changed by Swing.

I'm looking for a partner who shares my passion for Lindy, Mambo and Blues music and dance.

Intend to return to teaching and dance community organizing in the coming months.

Socially, charity balls, etc. I'm no stranger to white tie in Vienna, etc.

I do most of the ballroom dances; swing, foxtrot, west coast swing, salsa, cha cha, samba, bachata, Argentine tango, American tango, rumba, lindy hop, foxtrot, waltz, viennese waltz, quickstep, meringue, bolero, country two step, and night club two step.

Well after maybe 12 years I have drifted from country to Latin dancing. Finding a partner doesn't seem as important in Latin as the Latin community seems to be more social and I often get asked to dance. I'd still love to have a lady friend to call on to hit any one of the Latin clubs on some regular basis. I really like Bachata but taking lessons for Salsa as well.

I socially danced ballroom at a beginning state years ago but gave it up over 25 years ago. I have always loved to dance and after my husband passed in 2022 I decided to bring dance back into my life.I currently take private lessons with a Competition skilled instructor 3 days a week and attend 3 hours of classes. When available, I also take 3 hour workshops on weekend. Rumba is my favorite style of dance but, I also love American waltz, Foxtrot, Nightclub 2 step, I am just learning West Coast swing, Cha-Cha and American Tango. I want to dance well showing the heart of each dance.

But I'm in Skokie helping my dad once a week, so dancing in the Northern suburbs is possible.

I am often the first one on the floor and one of the last ones standing. Dancing gives me such a rush - gotta love those endorphins. I am new to the Dayton area and would love a tour guide in addition to a dance partner.

I trained ballet for 20 years and Modern/Jazz for 10 years. I have a degree in dance and am looking to become proficient in Latin dance technique and expression. My goal is to spend the next 20 years travelling and competing in Latin dance competitions. Looking for a partner to train with locally and travel to competitions.

What can I say, dancing is my passion. When I am not dancing I am dreaming about dancing! West Coast Swing is my favorite, but country 2-step & line dancing are a close 2nd. I'm currently teaching WCS, and country partner & line dances a couple times a month and hold a social dance once month. I also teach at the local country bar. Danced over 10 years, mostly latin, some standard and other ballroom dances, too. I really enjoyed it and want to get back into it at a high level.

I also enjoy most social dance styles and would enjoy working on those (Salsa, Bachata, Lindy, WCS, etc) as well.

I have been dancing for about two years and can follow a lead, which i prefer over a choreographed routine. My absolute favorite dances are Salsa, Waltz and Two-Step, but really, I love all dancing and am happy to work on anything. I really just want to dance for fun either socially or in a training/class format.
