Started Swing (Modern Lindy Hop) in 2000. Inspired by Frankie Manning. Started Mambo (Triple Mambo) a few years later. Also dance Blues and Waltz.

I taught classes in Modern Lindy Hop for several years.

I dance in the styles as these dances came out of Harlem in the 40s. Preserving the history and spreading the knowledge and joy of 1940s' Rhythm Dance is a passion.

I am a strong yet conscientious lead. Strong on technique.

In my teaching years I was a noted Lindy technique instructor in the Swing Dance Community.

I taught approx 300 classes and courses. Organized 250+ dances. Served on the staff of 5 American Lindy Hop Championships. Formerly the founder/director of the Swing Dance Community Chapter serving Fairfield, Westchester and later, Putnam.

I would classify myself as a professional social dancer. I've never been in it to make money. Always kept fees as low as I could manage.

I always included teaching the history of the music and dance in my classes. Including how society as well as music and dance was forever changed by Swing.

I'm looking for a partner who shares my passion for Lindy, Mambo and Blues music and dance.

Hi! I have been taking ballroom lessons for about 7 years now. I love most dances, my favorite is Argentine Tango. I would like to be able to work more on my technique and get into more competitions as well as performing.

I mostly danced Boogie Woogie / East Coast Swing, but also have (some) background in Tango and Cha Cha. I speakl German, French, English and Dutch, so I hope we will be able to communicate :-)

I am looking for a tall male to improve my dancing skills with, and have fun at dances. I am open to trying new dance styles. I covered ballroom and Latin American styles in my youth and jive more recently. I have been involved in street dancing locally and at the Malvern show . Would like to learn Balboa, Lindy hop and rock n roll as well as revitalise my ballroom & latin.

Well I got into Ballroom dancing a few months ago after watching Dancing with The Stars on tv. I just graduated with my masters degree and currently looking for a job, so more lesson are temporarily on hold, but I still go dancing at least once a week. I have access to a dance ballroom dance floor so I can practice any time I want. The dances that I am currently studying are Waltz, Foxtrot, Rhamba, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, and my all time favorite the Tango (American). But I do wish to expand my repertoire into International Rhumba and Bolero.

Looking for a lady that loves to dance. Willing to travel to meet the right woman. I am even willing to relocate for the right lifelong partnership. Have done no competitions as of yet. If the right partner shows up then I would certainly entertain, maybe even welcome, the idea.

I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well-rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good, dedicated dancer.

More than willing to concentrate on any one particular dance/style if partner has a preference, but I do hope to find a partner that likes to dance everything.

I've relocated to Bowling Green from Atlanta with my job and I lived most of my life in New York. I like to get up and go!! I'm eager to see and do all there is to do and I make friends easily... no drama and no baggage. I want to learn to dance more styles and improve on the basics and I want to have fun and dance!

I work full time Mon to Fri. I attend competition ballroom & Latin classes. I took lessons for about two years at Pollock Dance Studio, until it closed in 2013. Since then, I've been taking lessons run by the City, the TDSB, and Dance Club Blue Silver. I also generally attend dance nights a couple of times a month, mostly at Harmony Club and Club Solo.

I've coached with Roberta Sun, Francesco Flumiani, and once a month with Charlotte Jorgensen, and have a solid standard background. I've been competing in pre-champ standard during the past two years and placing in the finals. I have coaches in Vancouver, BC - Dale Neale for American Smooth and Vlada and Alexey Karaulov for Latin. Goals are to compete in Canada and US NDCA/NDCC sanctioned events, at least 2 per year.
