My dance journey began with a handful of independent lessons, including salsa and a selection of other styles that sparked my love for movement and rhythm. While these experiences gave me a strong foundation and confidence on the floor, I am eager to broaden my horizons. I am now seeking to immerse myself fully in the world of ballroom, with the goal of thoughtfully learning and mastering each dance in its entirety.

I have an attraction to street dances from the Carribean like Bacharta and Merengue in their traditional form. My passion is with Timba music and the Cuban dances of Casino, Son, Cha Cha Cha and Rumba. I'm looking to develop these dances further. My linear Salsa is basic but adequate to socially dance a song.

I'm currently learning Kizomba, Lindy Hop and Charleston.

County Western - 2 step: I consider myself intermediate; desire to learn and work on some new moves and turns.

West Coast Swing: I consider myself a beginner and just need practice to get the footwork ingrained.

I have been dancing for about 5 years and am looking for a partner to dance latin with. I dance mambo/on 2, on 1, and rueda salsa.

Did ballroom lessons during high school in guyana. We did mostly waltz and cha cha. I am open to learning related dance forms. I haven't danced in years because I haven't found a passionate dance partner or social events around. I miss that part of me and need someone willing to help me reconnect.

I've loved to dance since grade school yet never had any formal lessons till recently; so most of my prior dancing experience is free-form salsa and swing with partners. I have a good sense of rhythm and timing and love music of all types and am an amateur drummer and especially enjoy watching and dancing to good musicians/bands play live. My profession and business was engineering from which I have retired. I've been fortunate to have experienced travel in Europe, South and Central America, China and Egypt. I am kind and patient and desire to be a good dance leader. I like to laugh and have fun.

I am generally a confident dancer who loves to waltz and do latin. i have competed in lots of competitions and are some times asked to go back. It is only know that i find myself having the confidence and willingness to compete again. I would like to go for the Australians in Melbourne weather it be this year or next just have to have the right partner and the chemistry to connect and go for it.

I’ve taken ballroom lessons for 7 months. I would love a partner I can grow and learn with. I think having a dedicated dance/salsa partner would be better for me than various dancers at various levels.

Looking for someone to enjoy dancing on a social level

I am new in San Marcos, are there any places to dance near here? I used to teach Ballroom, Swing (East and West Coast)and Salsa. Perhaps I'll see you while I am out dancing - I always like to dance fancy steps, because they are more fun, and I don't want to dance like a clone - just marching or walking around the floor; however, if my partner is a beginner I can dance using more basic steps. I always wear a cool hat when I come and go as it keeps my head warm. Also, I am allergic to cats and don't have the time that other pets need - especially dogs, dogs are nice but require a lot of time and attention - I don't want to be cruel, so I have no pets.

I started dancing with a ballroom dancing show company when I was 16 and taught social dance and trained other dancers in the company for about 12 years. I then joined an independent competitive studio and learned how to teach and dance competitively. I worked as an amateur teacher for about 7 years before I stopped due to a move out of the area.

I have danced competitively for three years with the MIT Ballroom Dance Team and have competed last in Standard pre-champ and Latin Gold. In addition, I occasionally have done pick-up Smooth on the Silver. Due to job related relocations, I was not able to dance for years, but am now back on the floor. I enjoy practicing, competing, and improving. Next to focusing on technique, I like to work on the character of each dance.

I loveto dance; and watch

all the old hollywood musicals, also love to sing, sinatra, broadway etc.

I do alot of sports in the summer, namely boating, skating, and cycling.

I attend many outdoor venues, to dance concerts, etc;

I love to travel, cookout, and attend some high level parties, when possible;

I want to meet someone, who is into all these things, plus the gym, and is a big kid like me, that loves to explore life, and new adventures
