Hi I've been doing ballroom dancing on and off since childhood but never had a regular partner. It's difficult to say my level - it varies according to the dance! I am generally somewhere between bronze and silver I think. I've recently started learning sequence dances as a way to keep dancing though I would love to do more freestyle.

Dancing is my passion, Latin & Rhythm are my favorites. I am currently taking private lessons in NYC and compete in Pro Am. I would love to dance 2-3 days per week, I would like to concentrate on the dances I love...Latin Rhythm and Swing, I have a little experience in West Coast Swing, I wouldn't mind learning more of this dance. I also teach beginners part time.

I trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theater throughout my childhood. I went to theater school. In my mid twenties I started dancing salsa in the clubs in LA and was hooked. I was going dancing at least 3 times a week for a few years. I continued to dance salsa when I could in San Francisco and New York, but not as often. For the last few years my mobility was limited due to severe arthritis. I recently had a hip replacement and am thrilled to be living pain free again. My motivation during recovery from surgery was to dance again. I went to a Salsa festival in October and it was a blast. I am ready!

I took ballroom lesson for my PE courses in college, but I really started to get serious about dancing in 2008. I prefer to get as much floor time as possible, so I rarely sit out a dance. I am passionate about learning more styles and routines. I currently take 6 to 8 hours of private lessons per week, and this can become more when I am working on competition or showcase dances. Generally, my goal is to dance social ballroom or c/w or swing or salsa every weekend as I bring all of my dances to a competitive level. I now compete in ballroom and C/W. I am at the stage where I am in need of a dance partner who can continue this progress and level of dance of fun with me, and who also has a passion for dancing. To me dancing is just about the ultimate sensual experience that two people can have while being in sync with music. This last year, I have narrowed the focus of my passions, namely: work; learning to dance with grace, finesse, technique, and passion; learning more martial arts forms; learning to play the piano; and enjoying travel. Dancing fits in very well with this focus of mine. I am looking for someone to practice with; who loves dancing, and is looking to have some serious fun, while we work together in perfecting our dance steps, technique, and trying out new moves. I mainly dance for fun but I am working on technique and styling in order to dance at higher competitive levels. My dancing really accelerated this year with excellent pro's for instructors and coaching. I'm competing in 2 step, cha, nc-2, wcs, ecs, triple 2, and waltz; and American Tango, and rumba. I'm a natural, spirited, extremely youthful, energetic woman and have a zest for life. I've developed a passion for dancing and have competed in American Smooth (4 dances). I have also studied American Rhythm and International Standard and Latin. I am currently taking Lindy/Swing/Balboa lessons and loving it.

I welcome adventures. I love the outdoors and have varied activitites some of which are tennis, kayaking, and hiking. I also enjoy performing arts. I'm honest and down to earth and would like to meet someone of similar interests and values.

Rhythm Skater turned Salsero/Bachatero. After a decade of skating, I have found my true passion on the dance floor. I have been learning Salsa and Bachata for 4 months through socials and private lessons, and I practice at home 1 to 2 hours 4 to 5 days a week. Even though I am a beginner, I am motivated to train in hopes to dance Salsa at a competitive level. I am also open to become proficient in other dance styles like East and West coast swing, and Waltz.

I've been dancing for approximately 6 years. I love Ballroom and Latin but I also go to Ceroc and modern jive events for a workout ??. I enjoy learning new steps and always like to be the best that I can, but ultimately dancing must be fun. I live not far from Cambridge and Bury st Edmunds. A good old social dancer that has been around for a while.

I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 87, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s.

I think I would describe myself as a happy go lucky person with no particular hang ups. I have a part time job that I love to do as it's very social. It is involved with tea dancers and through this I have discovered a new passion and hobby for dancing. Have done Ballroom, Latin and Sequence for about 3yrs including a few private lessons in Ballroom and Latin, plus had loads of help from an excellent lady dancer/friend who really took time out to help me with the technical side of heel turns, double reverse spins, and other more advanced moves. Also had a go at Ceroc and Rock n Roll and like them all to be honest. Tango, salsa and west coast swing all look really great so am open to trying any kind of dance really. It would be nice to meet someone to share this passion with, rather than looking for romance at this moment in time, although you never can rule that out when meeting different people. I'm told I'm a quick learner and a natural dancer and wouldn't mind someone who could help me improve my dancing and take me to a better level but it's not the most important thing. Have spent most of my life working in the music business and retired from that in 2008 so my tastes in music are wide and varied, from easy listening, blues, soul and rock. Love watching live bands.

Looking for dance partner/leader for social ballroom classes and/or private lessons and events in and around the West Yorkshire area. I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.

My dance journey began with a handful of independent lessons, including salsa and a selection of other styles that sparked my love for movement and rhythm. While these experiences gave me a strong foundation and confidence on the floor, I am eager to broaden my horizons.
