Professional ballroom/Argentine tango instructor actively teaching adult classes in the Bay Area.

I am a beginner in ballroom dancing at a local dance training academy. I’m a retired Army officer, very fit, and this is something I really want to get in to. I’ve been practicing a lot of swing, waltz, rumba, tango and chacha but want to learn more. My primary goal is to have fun and become a better dancer. Secondary goal is to enter competitions but it’s not required. I’m open to multiple dance sessions per week.

I do most of the ballroom dances; swing, foxtrot, west coast swing, salsa, cha cha, samba, bachata, Argentine tango, American tango, rumba, lindy hop, foxtrot, waltz, viennese waltz, quickstep, meringue, bolero, country two step, and night club two step.

I have been professionally training dance since 2002, and I also give dance classrooms for Argentine Tango, Ballroom, Latin and Salsa dances.

I enjoyed all partner dances. I've competed American Smooth, Country Western, Hustle, and WCS in Pro-Am division Novice level; Jack & Jill contests for WCS, Salsa, and Hustle.

I would like to compete AM Smooth/Rhythm in AM-AM division (Bronze), also WCS strictly (Nov/Masters)if I can find a compatible partner.

Have been dancing for approximately 4 years now, bronze 3, no prior dancing background.

Wanting to dance more socially, improve my skills and potentially compete if the opportunity arose. I'm a little bit different in the fact that I'm legally blind. Regardless of this, I'm quite a competent dancer and a fast learner.

I have been dancing for about 14 years. I want to compete either international or American style. I can do it all at the open level.I learn quickly and work hard. I just love dancing! I love competing. I would love the opportunity to improve with a partner wanting to compete pre-championship level. If you would like someone to grow with in your dancing, I'm the one for you. I would gladly meet for a tryout. I'm also willing to practice on weekends if the distance is greater.

I have always loved to dance for the joy of it my entire life, but usually on my own. I thought it would be fun to learn to dance with a partner.

I love dancing. It's in my blood. I love the feeling of gliding around the floor, regardless of style, feeling the music and trying to put that feeling into my dancing. I've loved to dance since grade school yet never had any formal lessons till recently; so most of my prior dancing experience is free-form salsa and swing with partners. I have a good sense of rhythm and timing and love music of all types and am an amateur drummer and especially enjoy watching and dancing to good musicians/bands play live. My profession and business was engineering from which I have retired. I've been fortunate to have experienced travel in Europe, South and Central America, China and Egypt. I am kind and patient and desire to be a good dance leader. I like to laugh and have fun.
