I am a former ballroom dancer converted to West Coast Swing. I tried some other social dances along the way. I value precision and technical excellence. Rigorous training and drills - that's my thing. But also creating unique and connected dance experience.

I have been dancing for about 20 years and have studied most dances and competed in International Standard, Latin. I started with social dances such as swing and Argentine tango, but moved into International Latin and Standard competition. I love to dance socially but especially enjoy training and competition. I have started dancing again with a focus on American Smooth. I competed at the open level in International 10 dance but am open to dancing with a dancer that may have fewer years of training but has potential and talent because excellence comes with training and dedication. I am seeking a partner to learn American Smooth routines to practice with and potentially compete with.

10-dancer of about 14 years. Recently moved to the Austin (TX) area from New York City. Looking to get back into the competitive dance scene. My recent trainers are Ina Jeliazkova, Olga Tsikalyuk, Frantseska Yordanova, to name a few.

Dedicated and enjoy the learning process as I seek continuous improvement in dancing. Happy to put the effort in to becoming the best I can be. And I sure understand how much effort is required. Maybe a bit addicted to dancing. At present I mainly do international standard but open to other dance styles. I am happy to travel for tryout.

High energy with lots of life left. Competing in Colorado Star Ball on June 18, 19, 20, 2009. Don't be afraid to introduce yourself. I'll be doing some of the camps as well. I'll be with the Booth's Dancesport group and as far as I know I am the only Sue competing from that studio. Besides that, I try not to let much moss grow. Have a pretty intense career, but am able to offset it with lots of dancing. What a great balance! Would love to find, first of all, a practice partner. Would like to find out how often is too often to dance. Its kind of like flowers or roses - how often is too often to get them and how many is too many? Well, I just don't know, but would sure like the chance to find out. I have gone beyond being a beginner and love dancing with upper experienced dancers because I know that will make me so much better. I have become so passionate and I might even have to say driven at the this point about being just as good as what I see on Dancing with the Stars and am convinced that I can pull it off. I am a bit old fashioned and love to be treated like a lady. Love dressing up for special occasions. Love to travel and want to see so much more of our world. Hoping dancing might lead to a few of those places. My favorite dances are Fox Trot - would love to be able to dance like Ginger - Lindy Hop and Swing, Cha Cha and oh yes Rumba - very sexy slow dance. American Tango has fast become one of my favs and now I have added Bolero and oh my gosh, with the right partner, what a dance! I have competed in a national Arthur Murray competition and many of their local ones during the past 5 years and am still seeking a dance/practice partner, even though I now have a fabulous instructor. It is the missing element for me.

I live in la mesa which is ten minutes east of san diego. I dance as a hobbie and would like to fine some one to practice and dance with. If it developes in to a relationship is ok and if not is ok also.

Ballet, Jazz, and Ballroom/Latin trained, over many years. Most recently was performing and competing on the West Coast in American Smooth and Rhythm, Theater Arts, and Jazz as part of a company. I've been dancing ballroom for about 5 years, both Latin and standard dances. I've mostly danced socially, though did a few competitions as a student. I would like train seriously for competitions.

Just to mention, I also dance salsa, bachata and kizomba, but I'm more interested in finding a partner for ballroom.

Lead based in Phoenix. My foundation is International Standard and Latin: nine years of training in the Netherlands through the gold and gold star medal levels. That was a few decades ago — I'm upfront about the rust — but the base of frame, posture, timing discipline, and partnering runs deep and comes back fast. Current focus is salsa (on1) and bachata (fusion/sensual, plus some traditional footwork), where I'm an honest intermediate actively training my way out: regular private lessons, solo drilling between sessions on timing, turns, and body movement, video review, and one to two socials a week. I treat improvement as deliberate practice rather than social mileage, and I keep the schedules I commit to. Long-term goal is strong social proficiency across Salsa, Bachata, Latin and ballroom floors, with a performance team possible down the line. Competition isn't a goal, one a year at most, for fun, and only if my partner wants it.

I am at my happiest when I am dancing !

Open to learning new dances/styles and quite happy to dance at any level just for the fun of it.

I approach each dance as if it was my very last one (with all my heart and the corresponding emotion).
