Grew up dancing in Russia. 10 dances. Currently competing in American Rhythm. But want to get back also to Standard. I own a successful dance studio in Atlanta so I can't relocate.

I love to dance socially. I have danced socially for about 20 years. I can dance anywhere I hear good music (in a ballroom, on a cruise ship, in the mall, even on a sidewalk). I am not afraid to be the only one on the dance floor. I enjoy American style waltz, Viennese waltz, foxtrot, quickstep, tango, Argentine tango, east coast swing, west coast swing, disco hustle, salsa, merengue, bachata, cha cha, rumba, bolero and samba. Ballroom dancing started as a covid hobby and I would like to get better at it. I danced ballet and tap when I was younger and take dance seriously. My ballroom favorites are rumba and east coast swing but I am proficient in many others. I also recently re-started with ballet and tap dancing, mostly to help keep flexible and nimble but also because it is fun and keeps me moving when no partners are available. I compete at the bronze level in local competitions and am strongly motivated to keep getting better.

Tango’s my favorite—there’s something magnetic about the intensity and connection it demands. But I’m versatile: I’ve trained in western styles and ballroom too, from waltz to foxtrot, and I love exploring new rhythms. I love the athletic artistry and beautiful strength of ballroom dance. My goal is to become the best dancer I possibly can and reach a high level of excellence as a professional Smooth or Nine Dance competitor. I have been dancing for about 17 years, teaching professionally for over 10 years, and I have 6 years of professional competition experience.
