Looking for dance partner/leader for social ballroom classes and/or private lessons and events in and around the West Yorkshire area. I've been dancing around 20 years (West Coast Swing, Blue's, Jive etc.) but only ballroom dancing for around 12 months, but I love it and would like a partner to continue learning and dancing.

I enjoy dancing and want to learn more about dancing with a partner.

I have been dancing at a studio for past 3 1/2 years. I have performed several choreographed showcases and am comfortable with Bronze-Silver level syllabus patterns. I have performed 4 of these showcases at competitions as well as competed in the Am level in smooth, rhythm, and latin. I have come to love dancing both competitively and socially. I am proficient in smooth, rhythm, latin, swing, tango and salsa.

I have danced salsa socially for 18+ years, Samba/Afro Brazilian for over 20 years and Cngolese dance dor 10 years. I'm hoping to get to an advanced level in salsa on 1 and 2.

Over the years created a system of teaching the major ballroom dances by interrelating steps of dances to make easy learning.Then adding personal style to ones dancing.Still work with small groups,but mostly retired from full time teaching.I have fun dancing and meeting people.Some travel,getting back to going to dance events.I will help judge sometimes but not as much anymore.I have never stopped learning new techniques and truly believe dancing keeps you young and healthy.

When there's music (and sometimes when there's not), my body is moving. I love to dance. Not much formal training but have been doing a variety of dances almost all my life. Not great at any but would like to take ballroom lessons with right partner to get really good and have fun. I have lots of energy and stamina. Can dance for hours. I'm told my age is deceiving because I look, act and feel at least 10 years younger.

I started my dance experience with partner skating at age 9 and continued for 4 years. Switched to Tap, Jazz, Ballet wasn't serious about my dancing until I was 19 since I've taught at Fred Astaire from 2008 to 2014. From then taught consistent independently to current. I still do contract work for dance studios when needed. My goal now is to dance at a high level with the hope of someday being an invigilator or judge. I'm open to possibilities but serious work and goal oriented are a must. I'm really interested in any style however I do focus on Smooth and Standard. Hard work with a focus on movement, connection and creativity are my favorite things! I work as a corporate pilot. I don't fly a ton and have lots of time for dancing. One of the reasons I like the job! My schedule can be erratic and unpredictable at times though. I have spent years in the details and finer points and would love to have somebody to share them with. All while having a balance of just fun and letting go through movement and dance. I am serious about my dancing and long term goals. I am open to conversations of any possibilities for working together.

High level in hustle and other night club dances. Frequent competitor both in Los Angeles and elsewhere. Also showcases. Have brought my American rhythm and smooth back up to silver or gold level in order to compete in 9 dance. Currently taking about 6 hours of privates a week and practicing a similar amount. I'm serious. Life doesn't last forever, I started out in this way to late and am doing everything I can to catch up. My wife has no interest in dancing but fully supports my dance activities. Prior to covid I attended Toronto Salsa/Bachata Congress, Las Vegas Open, and numerous local events such as Emerald Ball but now lessons, practice, and tea dances.

I consider myself as a gifted natural dancer where music comes into my blood since the moment I saw the world. Even if my parents have sent me to school to complete my bachelors degree and landed a good job on such degree , still my entire body senses, toes, legs, hands and the entire system yearn for that feeling of engaging into the rhythm of the music. My world is music. My life is music. When I dance, I feel that I get to express the genuine purpose and aim of why I was born. It is about the passion of my dance. When I move to the dance steps and perform before the audience and compete among the numerous fantastic dancers, I feel so much the joy and achievement. I am ready to live my passion. To live the life of an artist. To live the life of an athlete. And I want to achieve more. I will never stop. I will chase on my dreams. I will become big someday with the right partner. I've been dancing since I was 17. Although I do the Waltz and Continuity, I prefer the American Rhythm and East Coast Swing, although I am open to learning others. At one time I was proficient with West Coast Swing, but haven't had a partner for it in a number of years and have lost most of it. When I was doing West Coast it was my favorite. Before my wife's dementia we danced 4-5 times a week. I have had lessons at Fred Astaire, Arthur Murray and several independent studios. Although I am 87, most people say I appear early 70s and some even guess 60s.

Ballet, Jazz, and Ballroom/Latin trained, over many years. Most recently was performing and competing on the West Coast in American Smooth and Rhythm, Theater Arts, and Jazz as part of a company. Absolutely adore all kinds of partner dancing and am at my best when I'm dancing regularly and continuously learning. :) Just moved to southern NH (easy drive to Boston) and really hoping to find nice, fun people to dance with socially and maybe for shows/competitions.

Hustle, Freestyle, Love 70's and 80's...

I have been dancing Blues Fusion for about 5 years and during that time have learned West Coast Swing, Zouk, Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba. I am primarily interested in practicing leading socially as opposed to choreography.

Retired dancer owner instructor performer competitor..mostly Latin.. especially salsa..some ballroom.. yes i said i was amateur its time ro return to being a student..nowadays just want to practice and go out to nightclubs and enjoy but am very much into lifts drops side by sides footwork old school salsa different styles..I still have a vision..also inflemuences in jazz etc..freestyle locking jazz..I can still move very well and I understand and feel music and love performing naturally and seeing the inspired reactions from people who are escaping their hard days including myself.

I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.
