I did ballet and contemporary as a kid, and fell back in love with dance through ballroom and latin dance in college. My favorite styles are Argentine Tango and Waltz, but I'm most proficient in Salsa and Bachata. I'm a fast-learning beginner who would love to compete at some point, but I'm less than 2 years into my ballroom journey so my focus is building up my dancing skills without relying solely on classes.

I am an active, social person who enjoys dancing, playing tennis and spending time with friends. I recently started getting more into ballroom dancing and am looking for a partner to practice with and join me at social dances (and, who knows, if we are good enough we could possibly even consider entering competitions in the future -- but that is definitely not a requirement).

I've danced all my life and taught kids in tap, jazz, baton twirling etc. but recently I've wanted to occasionally take advantage of social dance opportunities and lessons. While I've not had much experience social dancing I pick up very quickly. Just looking for an occasional dance partner - no relationship - other than friendship. Male or female is fine.

Love to dance and won't quit till you do. Am familiar with all typical ballroom dances - Smooth and Latin. I do know Salsa and Hustle as well. West Coast Swing is one of my favorites. Foxtrot and Bolero would be my other two favorites. Just now starting to learn Argentine Tango. I can see the possibilities are endless, but can't really judge the dance till it becomes 'effortless' - and I'm not there yet.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good dedicated dancer.

More than willing to concentrate on any one particular dance/style if partner has a preference, but I do hope to find a partner that likes to dance everything.

Hello! I've been dancing for around 10 years, mainly international ballroom (in recent years, I focused on St) and hustle (somewhat similar to rock 4 temps). I took classes in Russia, Spain and in Belgium and would like to grow further, but above all - to enjoy dancing.

I've been lucky to have a great dance partner with whom I took private classes (St.) and practiced 1-3 times per week, depending on our availability. He had to leave Belgium, and I'd be glad to meet a dancer who loves waltzes as much as I do. My teacher says I am a good follower.

Hello! I've been dancing Ballroom for 2 years, both ballroom and latin. My goal is to start competing soon but before that I am trying to find a dance partner. I live in the south of Sweden, in Skåne. I am hoping to be able to practice atheist 2 days a week but that could also change to more.

I love dancing of various kinds - most zouk, salsa, bachata , kizomba and their fusion.

As for me - young spirit, open mind, like travelling, wildlife. Patience, empathy are my strenghts, not only while dancing. Not big talker. Natural teacher. Not happy with sparkling dress. Not ordinary mix of introvert and extrovert.

It is not easy to find somebody who loves hard-work dance training. And without dance partner progress is usually very poor.

I think I would describe myself as a happy go lucky person with no particular hang ups. I have a part time job that I love to do as it's very social. It is involved with tea dancers and through this I have discovered a new passion and hobby for dancing. Have done Ballroom, Latin and Sequence for about 3yrs including a few private lessons in Ballroom and Latin, plus had loads of help from an excellent lady dancer/friend who really took time out to help me with the technical side of heel turns, double reverse spins, and other more advanced moves. Also had a go at Ceroc and Rock n Roll and like them all to be honest. Tango, salsa and west coast swing all look really great so am open to trying any kind of dance really. It would be nice to meet someone to share this passion with, rather than looking for romance at this moment in time, although you never can rule that out when meeting different people. I'm told I'm a quick learner and a natural dancer and wouldn't mind someone who could help me improve my dancing and take me to a better level but it's not the most important thing. Have spent most of my life working in the music business and retired from that in 2008 so my tastes in music are wide and varied, from easy listening, blues, soul and rock. Love watching live bands.

Mom and Dad were the First to start Ballroom Dancing as therapy after my dad had a stoke. My niece was next to get going and I have finally been pulled into Ballroom. I Used to be a Trumpet player for the defense of the country, but now I can be found dancing to the music instead of performing. 17 years of group classes and about 6 of private lessons. Mostly American styles, but have been getting into International lately.

My 4 year dance partnership has just come to an end and I am looking for a new amateur partner to take lessons with, practice and possibly compete. My last competitions were in American Smooth at Gold level. I've been taking dance lessons for about 6 years now and would like to keep improving my technique and performance skills, learn more difficult routines and styling. I am a quick learner and a good follower, and I have a great musicality and sense of rhythm. We can dance anywhere in NoVa or MD/DC area.

My Home is in Orlando area, FL, but I am on the beach a lot and may relocate to beach front in Florida in the near future. I visit Fairfax Virginia to see my parents and I travel to various cities frequently. Wherever I am, I work, cook, exercises, and spend a lot of time train/dance in studios, gym and in the house. I love to compete because competitions always give me immediate, mid-term and long-term goals to train and to practice. Goals are one of those things that I rely on to work really hard and to keep focus on. I truly enjoy practicing and social dance too. I get excited about show case, because of the intimacy of the smaller venue and familiarity with everyone at the venue. I can NOT wait for the pandemic be over so we can all go out dance like before. Currently I train at home or at the locations wherever I travel to. I am getting a portable ballet barre, which will make training more complete.
