I've taken lots of group lessons and some privates for a number of years. I want to improve proficiency by working together with a partner, particularly International Standard. I am moving away from social dance to competition instead, because I prefer the discipline and higher level of dance satisfaction that comes with competition. Of course, studio/training work is part of that discipline. I've done one competition and looking to do more.

I've been dancing since 2004, including professionally for ~6 years before going to grad school. Now that I've graduated I'm looking to get back into dancing. I'm open to competing, might start teaching again, I'm exploring my options.

I'm looking for someone to practice with during COVID. My background is ballet, aerial silks, samba, salsa and tango but it has been awhile since I have done any partner dancing . I am a fast learner and fun to be around. I ideally would like to partner with someone who is pretty good at swing and tango and doesn't mind working with someone who is new to swing.

I started dancing at Fred Astaire Dance Studio in upstate NY two and a half years ago and have been working there for almost a year and a half. I have competed in mixed novice and Open Professional American Rhythm. I would like to continue competing in American Rhythm but am open to learning new styles, as an instructor I have studied american and international styles of dancing. I am a dedicated dancer and am looking for someone to practice, do shows with and compete professionally.

I have been dancing since the age of 5. I have been playing music since the age of 4. Music and dancing is my passion and I am very fortunate to have my career totally in the arts. I am an Artistic Director. I am composing original music for the production I am working on now. We are using a variety of dance styles in the show.

I was very fortunate last year to be able to travel in Europe for 6 months last year and work as a professional dancer and musician. I was living in Istanbul and had a remarkable experience in a totally different culture. I am a very well rounded and kind person. I have a wonderful sense of humor and love to laugh often. When I am working with people I love to bring out the magic that is within all of us especially when dance choreography is being focused on. I have very consistently studied and performed many forms of dance to very high levels of mastery and I feel that I am still improving my abilities. I have a dream to share my vision with a number of like minded dancers and performers who will put their heart and soul into this endeavor that will make a difference in this world.

I love to dance because it's an expression of self through music with someone unique who understands it. I've competed for many years around the world and have gotten many titles. While it's fun, I'm more interested in learning together, growing and sharing the love of dance with someone talented.
