I am just learning to dance but I enjoy Social dancing, some Latin and Ballroom

Began dancing in college, was participating in local/national competitions and performances, taking private lessons up to silver level in American Smooth and Rhythm, with some introduction to International Latin and Standard (bronze level). Interested in casual participation in competitions/taking private lessons with a partner

I am from Europe. I've been a professional skater, and skating coach. For the past fourteen years I've taken classes in Argentine tango, salsa, west coast swing, and cha cha. I've taught others how to do Argentine tango.

(Willing to dance other styles to round things out and have fun, but standard is my main focus on the competitive level) A good feel and fit with each other is more important than any level obtained or number of years danced. l love to swing jive at our 1940's club. l went to ballroom dance as a young girl. I can find my way around the dance floor with any partner. The hardest dance for me is the fox trot. l like to take cunard cruises where i know there is a great dance floor . l do not like disco dancing. l occasionally travel to California so could dance there too!

I have been dancing for quite sometime but was never really trained in style. I was a ballroom teachers assistant so I have a lot of dances down but really want to compete. I have been in two small competitions and placed 3rd, and 2nd. I have such a PASSION for dance! It’s all about the connection!

I started my dance experience with partner skating at age 9 and continued for 4 years. Switched to Tap, Jazz, Ballet wasn't serious about my dancing until I was 19 since I've taught at Fred Astaire from 2008 to 2014. From then taught consistent independently to current. I still do contract work for dance studios when needed. My goal now is to dance at a high level with the hope of someday being an invigilator or judge. I'm open to possibilities but serious work and goal oriented are a must. I'm really interested in any style however I do focus on Smooth and Standard. Hard work with a focus on movement, connection and creativity are my favorite things! I work as a corporate pilot. I don't fly a ton and have lots of time for dancing. One of the reasons I like the job! My schedule can be erratic and unpredictable at times though. I have spent years in the details and finer points and would love to have somebody to share them with. All while having a balance of just fun and letting go through movement and dance. I am serious about my dancing and long term goals. I am open to conversations of any possibilities for working together.
