I have been dancing socially for 10 years - contra, square, contra waltz, and occasionally other folk dances. I dance about once a month, and attend several weekend events per year with more advanced dances and workshops.

I competed for many years in International Standard. My former partner recently decided to retire from practicing or competing in Standard and I'm looking for a new partner for practice and, perhaps, competition.

I have been dancing American standard ballroom for quite some time and have taught a little here and there. I'm open to dancing International ballroom.

Open to teaching a newcomer to ballroom dancing as this helps me become a better teacher and dancer.

Though, what I'm really interested in is dancing with a lady who has the same or more experience than me. The reason for this that I have noticed my dance movement & style changes for the better as I'm able to find my weak spots and make them stronger.

I know of a couple studios where we can practice, train, and dance. We just need to pay floor fees to practice usually $20 each for 1 hour or less if we find a better rate.

I started dancing at the end of 2013 and am enjoying myself thoroughly. I'd like to build my skills to a proficient level in several dances, just for the fun of it !

Dancing gets into your blood. I have a solid lead, strong but gentle. Currently, my favorites are: progressive 2 step, hustle, swing, waltz and foxtrot. Over the years Ive tried to learn a little about a lot and can dance to most styles. Im kicking around the idea of competing for fun.

Dancing a little more than one year; prefer frequent practices to learn ballroom dance, especially Latin rhythm dances. Don't know where it will lead but eager to explore and see where it goes for me with dance!

Hey, I'm from Germany and moved here in summer 2011. I danced 10 dances International, but I also competed in America in Smooth.

I've been Ballroom Dancing for 10 years by now very actively and had 12 mayor competitions and few small ones.

I started teaching in July 2021 and I have DVIDA Bronze certifications in Smooth, Rhythm, Standard & Latin and DVIDA Silver Standard & Gold Standard

I am relatively new to the Toronto area. Looking for a practice partner who has successful Latin American competition experience.

I am slim, very committed, rhythmical, hard working, athletic and non-smoking. I weigh in at 160lbs, 5ft 7in (170cm). I am a passionate Latin American competition dancer. Latin coaches over the last few years have included the Douglasses, Truemans, and Jake Davies with occasional sessions with Ian Waite, Hannes Emrich and Andrew Cuerden/Hanna Haarala. In my last 18 months in England I trained with Mark Lunn (London) and Andrzej Mialkowski (Northampton). Since moving to Toronto, now train at Ol-Si dance sport with Oleg Yedlin, Valentin Kolesnikov, and Antoaneta Popova.

I started competing in LA in March 08 and competed successfully during most of 2008 and 2009 and were easily within the Top 12 in the Senior Latin English chart. During 2010 I took a break from competitions and eased my way back in during late October for a few comps before the British National. In January 2011 I won the Senior Pre-Am Latin (Champions of Tomorrow) at Blackpool, and in June 2011, Stars of The Future, confirming that I am the top Senior Pre Champ in the UK, and making the quarter finals of the British National and Top 60 in the British Open.

Besides all that, I am a keen social dancer and frequent the usual places from time to time. Happy to work with a professional or amateur, and happy to perform/demonstrate and possibly compete at Pre Champ/Champ level.

Looking for a lady that loves to dance. Willing to travel wherever to meet the right woman. I am even willing to relocate for the right lifelong partnership. Have done no competitions as of yet. If the right partner shows up then I would certainly entertain, maybe even welcome, the idea.

Love to dance and won't quit till you do. Am familiar with all typical ballroom dances - Smooth and Latin. I do know Salsa and Hustle as well. West Coast Swing is one of my favorites. Foxtrot and Bolero would be my other two favorites. Just now starting to learn Argentine Tango. I can see the possibilities are endless, but can't really judge the dance till it becomes 'effortless' - and I'm not there yet.

I have not yet concentrated on any one dance or style in particular, so I am not yet excellent at any of them. I do, however, know enough to get out on the dance floor and hold my own as an advanced level amateur dancer. I have been trying to become a well rounded dancer with a good lead for now - while waiting on the partner. I am learning and having lots of fun while doing so, but my dancing could be so much more with a good dedicated dancer.

More than willing to concentrate on any one particular dance/style if partner has a preference, but I do hope to find a partner that likes to dance everything.

I've been dancing in total for almost 23 years. I was a Ballerina for 16 years, acrobat/contortionist for 8, and then switched to ballroom 7 years ago. In this time I've competed American Rhythm, I'm also willing to switch to Latin and would also be interested in Theatre arts. I was obsessed about a decade ago and recently came back and the teacher moved me to intermediate after a month. Its amazing how much I remember. Ive been told I am a quick learner and a food follower. I attend 2 classes weekly and dance socials at least 2x a month. I would love to have someone to practice with and hone my skills and keep progressing.

Through some difficult and painful life lessons I am preparing to be better at life as a whole and I feel like a champion when I practice dancing(even though I haven't arrived at any medals, etc. yet). My desires are to learn to love all people, to get up after falling and hopefully learn from those experience(s) and finally to improve on the best I can be, while hopefully learning to listen to the genuine wisdom of others to blend with my own to build a better life.

To keep it short I have many interests and yes, I am willing to adapt to new ones within reason....except hard rock and heavy rap music. I am generally a quiet guy but in the right atmosphere can be quite lively and entertaining.

Another thing that I forgot to mention is that I am learning not just to enjoy events, outings, just being quiet, fun times, etc..........but, the most important point is that I am learning to treasure each moment that I am with that special someone and not take time and life and her for granted. ...... .... There is a saying that I learned sometime ago: "The only moment that we have is the moment that we are in" so, "What existed a moment ago has gone" and "will we be here in a moment from now?" Have you ever heard of the song "Love is a wonderful thing" an upbeat song sung by Michael Bolton? Love can be a super wonderful thing!...unless things get messed up then, it's very painful until healing takes place and all is sorted out.....Just some deep thoughts I wanted to share and hopefully help you out.
