I competed in Jive in college. I used to dance a lot 20+ years ago. Then I stopped. I came back to ballroom dancing 2 years ago. I am taking private lessons to get back on track. I love to be able to dance well. I love International Latin and was at Silver Level before. I am learning International Standard now since I want to be much better in these dances.

I fell in love with kizomba and lightly dabble in urbankiz. I go to several festivals a year and try to go to as many local classes and socials as I can where the teacher/community is strong. I started dancing in January, 2023 and had just about no musical or dance experience prior to that. My goal is to be a strong, sensitive follow.

Originally from Japan and a Japanese Kimono dance instructor. I was also a kindergarten teacher for several years in Oregon, so that I consider myself as very patient. I am competing in Ballroom Pro-Am category currently but If I could find the right partner, I'd like to compete in Am-Am category locally and/or nationally. I am also interested in competing in West Coast Swing and/or Zouk with the right partner. Being a part of a Ballroom formation team is helping my artistic abilities and range of motion a lot. Hi there. I'm currently studying WC Swing, but sudied EC Swing, when a teen, for a short period of time. I've also been taught a bit of Latin, from Latino boyfriends, back in highschool. I have been dancing for close to 15 years. I first learned by taking lessons at the local community college. My favorite dances are West Coast, swing, Salsa, Bachata, hustle, and Bollywood.

I've lived in the Daytona Beach area since 1983. I've done my homework as to what dance resources are available here in Daytona Beach, as well as in to the Orlando area. Now I need to find a dance partner that will benefit!

I love to dance & can't get enough of it. Pre Covid, I regularly met a lot of friends at the night clubs & Dance Halls for Country Salsa/Bachata & West Coast Swing dancing.
