I am almost an empty nester and want to get back to social ballroom dancing. My husband is not a dancer but knows how important this is to me. I use to compete in my early twenties and that was years ago. My old partner was a dance instructor. My parents use to both teach for Arthur Murray and raised all six of us kids to dance all types of dances. Music is my life but dancing to that music keeps my life in motion.

I am a social Argentine Tango and Ballroom Dancer in search of a dance and life partner. I live in a great place, on the beach on the closest in Island of the Washington State San Juan's, but not too many ladies who want to dance come knocking at my door. A few years ago, I spent three weeks in Buenos Aires in November, had a wonderful time, love to go back I truly enjoy the deserted beach in front of my house, having beach fires, shooting off fireworks, picking up beach glass and agates. Recently acquired a 1936 Taylor/Piper Cub (little yellow airplane) project, , going to restore it and go flying again. My passion is figure skating and dancing. I have been skating for almost a year and can do jumps and spins. I'm not a professional, but I would like to add dancing to my figure skating journey. This journey has taught me many things. I'm confident that with effort and training, I will be able to attend competitions, which is my goal. Dancing on ice is a form of art, and I have a great passion for performing dances with my partner on the ice.

Although I have only been dancing about a year and a half, I have become totally captivated and quite enamored by it! My ex-partner, who had several years experience over me, said I follow as if I have danced for years. Started with sessions in a regular (ballrom) dancing school. Was professional ballroom dancer for 4 years. After a break of more than 10 years (my formwer wife didn't like dancing) I came accross Argentine Tango.... and immediately fell in love with it. It is now my main hobby and my passion!
